1291.  The Philippines
Kumusta Ka/ [How are you?]  Do you miss teaching 4th grade?  They could be a rowdy group, I think.  They're fun and innocent, too :)  I hope you like this map card.  Take Care!cc

Hello Chris, Maayong adlaw!  (Good day!)
Here's a GF card for your collection.  I just got back from a mail hiatus over the holidays and I have a lot of catching up to do.  One card at a time!  Have a great day.

956.  Maskara Festival, Bacolod Philippines, 3rd weekend of October
Maskara Festival showcases activities such as food fairs, mask making contests, brass band competitions, beauty and talent pageants, a windsurfing regatta, drinking and eating contest, trade fairs and exhibits.  the climas is a mardi-gras parade where revellers elaborate mask and costumes and dance to Latin rhythms Rio de Janiero style.
Greetings from Cebu, Philippines!  Kumusta?  (How are you?)  The Philippines was named to honor King Philip II of Spain in 1543 (we were colonized for 393 years).  Filipinos are very fond of music.  We love to perform dances and groups singing during festive celebrations.  We have a very unique culture due to the influences of colonization and the surrounding countries.
Truly, it is more fun in the Philippines!  Ana

Chris Hello!  Greetings from the Philippines!  This postcard is about our capital city.  Metro Manila is so congested right now.  I hope our next president will do something about it.  Anyways, have a great day!  Zarah
