Postcards Received from Arizona

2062.  Explore Arizona!
Arizona Highways Collection
Good move!  I grew up in Ocean (? can't read) NY near Bradford.  Beautiful countryside, bad weather.  Be well, Simon.

1965.  Flagstaff, Arizona
Passenger rail service is provided by Amtrak at the downtown station in Flagstaff.  The Southwest Chief line runs daily between Chicago and Los Angeles, through the vast expanse of the fabled American West.

Dia de los Muertos Paper Dolls
Hello!  Greetings from Arizona!  My name is Tilly and I live in Giod Canyon, near Phoenix.
Random Facts:  1) I'm originally from Wisconsin; 2) I love the smells of wet dirt, musty basements and skunks; 3) South Africa is my dream trip; 4) I've never had a pet, not even a fish; 5) I don't like coffee, tea or cold pizza; 6)I love chicken livers; 7) Monument Valley is my favorite place in AZ; 8) I'm going to China for two weeks in June.
Wishing you all the best.  Hope you're enjoying you new life in PA.  Tilly

1804.  Dia de los Muertos
"I knew if I waited around long enough something like this would happen." -George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) Irish playwright & socialist)
Her lies my wife
Here let her lie
Now she has peace
And so do I
Hello neighbor!  I love the art from Di de los Muertos and I've been to a festival and gallery display.  It's good to educate people that it's not a scary holiday.  I found a couple of epitaphs (above) that made me smile.  Ciao!  Garci

1265.  "Cowgirl" Liisa Phillips
Tucson Museum of Art
A swap where I sent them the card to send to me.
Greetings from Melbourne, Australia!  Thanks you for the cool postcards with the sculptures.  I think I will use them in further rounds of this swap!  I hope this finds you well.  Lisa

1250.  Two Women and a Mule
These two women are moving up the Bright Angel Trail toward the rim of Grand Canyon National Park.  In this whimsical photograph, one of the women appears to be trying to convince the mule to keep moving upwards with her friend.
This was a swap...I sent them a card that I wanted mailed to me.  I sent this card because I love it and didn't want to send it to someone else.  It was mailed back to me from Belgium:
Advice from a mule from Ilan Shamin:  "Be sure-footed, follow your path, work hard, pack life with great memories.  It's okay to be a little stubborn.  Get a kick out of life."

464.  Saguaro National Park, Tucson, Arizona
Sorry you got someone so close to your usual home, but this can remind you of the lovely storms you are missing.  Oh, and the 112 degree heat.  Enjoy PA!  Sandra, Mesa, AZ
